Shortcode from another WP-Plugin not working in Event-List-Template

I want to integrate an mp3-player into my events …

There is a pretty nice WP-plugin doing this:

It uses shortcodes to imbedd an mp3-file into the player:
[audio mp3="URL-to-mp3-file"]

Putting this into the content (description)-field of an event, the player is shown, but the mp3-file is not reachable (empty player).

Why this? Putting the shortcode into a WP-posts (standard and custom ones) works fine.

Do you have an idea how to imbedd mp3-/video-players into an event?

i’m not quite sure why this wouldn’t work, but have you tried posting the event in a page or post with this code. and seeing if that will work?
