Shortcode for Waitlist Events

The best way I have found to do what I’m looking for as far as the calendar goes is to waitlist events I don’t want to appear on the calendar. However, I DO need those events to appear on the event registration page. I know it’s possible, because it can be done with the widget. I’ve just got it on a regular page with shortcodes though. What’s the shortcode to make waitlist events appear?

Thanks, that sort of works, except that I have a bunch of events in other categories I don’t want to show.  I just want to show a single category, both regular and waitlisted.

I haven’t tried this yet so let me know if it works.

Try the category shortcode with the show secondary parameter:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#event-category

[CATEGORY_NAME event_id=1 show_secondary=true]

Be sure to add the correct category ID to the above.
