Short Codes not displaying Events in EE4

Hi,
Since upgrading my test site to EE4, the shortcodes for Events are not displaying at all. The heading is there but nothing else.

• What shortcodes should we be using and what exactly is going on? Will this issue be resolved soon?
• Add-on for calendar is not working either with shortcode http://littlefield.tandandesign.com/calendar/

If we continue to use EE3 because we’re on a deadline, will it be supported in the future?

We need to use the a few of the add-ons such as calendar, custom template display, mobile, etc. and this is for a event venue with numerous events weekly and with lots of revenue that we can’t risk losing.

This has really put a big kink in our production schedule and we sold the project using EE3 so not sure how to approach this upgrade. We upgraded to EE4 because it was recommended we do so but perhaps we should downgrade again?

Hi Tan,

We are not recommending upgrading to Event Espresso 4 beta if you need to use features like the calendar or any of the other available EE3 add-ons because it turns out that the [EVENT_CUSTOM_VIEW] shortcodes and the Event Espresso 3 Calendar add-on are not compatible with Event Espresso 4.

Event Espresso 3 will be supported until Event Espresso 4 matches Event Espresso 3’s feature set.
