I’ve searched through the KB and haven’t found a solution yet.

When someone goes to the View cart and sets qty to 2, then clicks Refresh Total….it still shows $0.00.

I tried switching to Twenty Twelve theme and it does the same thing.

Any suggestions?

Hi Joanne,

If you’ve tried the default theme, try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non Event Espresso plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.

I’ve activated the TwentyTwelve theme and turned off all plugins except Espresso Event plugins. The cart is still not refreshing.

I’ve left it like that for now so you can see it…but I will need to change the theme back soon as the client doesn’t want it left like this for long.

Thank you.

Hi Joanne,

It doesn’t look like the theme is causing this. Can you go to the Event Espresso System status page and let us know the exact version numbers of the Event Espresso add-ons are installed so we can investigate this further?

Hi Joanne,

I’m still looking at the site and it appears that something is clearing out the cart prematurely. If you go the them main events page:

http://everydayart.ca/register/

then add a few events the the cart, then navigate away to another page (like the home page, doesn’t really matter) then navigate over to the register page again by clicking on “register” navigation link, the cart is empty.

Did the registration-cancelled page get removed and did the [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode get placed on another page?

how would i check this:

Did the registration-cancelled page get removed and did the [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode get placed on another page?

Hi Joanne,

On the Event Espresso>System status page there are four pages listed under “Registration Pages”. The last one on the list is the cancel return page, and that page should be the only page that has the [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode on it. The other three pages should not have the [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode on them.
