Hi, I need a webshop that supports iDeal like Shopp for payments on my site. I have interest in Event Espresso for handling event registrations. In which attendees have the possibility to pay via iDeal. I use Mollie as a PSP. Mollie is compatible with Shopp. So therefore I was wondering whether  Event Espresso is compatible with the Shopp plugin. To get this all working. Preferably without the need of a developer making adjustments. Is this possible? What other option do I have (other shop plugins that work with Mollie)?

It depends on what kind of compatibility you mean between Shopp and EE. While EE has an iDeal Mollie payment gateway, and I’m guessing that Shopp also has an iDeal Mollie payment gateway, there is no communication between EE and Shopp. So you can’t register for an event with EE and check out using Shopp, and you can’t add physical goods from Shopp into the EE shopping cart, etc.

Am I reading it correctly that EE works (directly) with Mollie? Ofcourse then I don’t need Shopp integrated. Is it easy to connect EE and Mollie or does that require programming.

And will the end result be that attendees can register for events and pay using iDeal?

Correct, EE has an iDeal Mollie payment module. You’ll just need to activate it and enter your Mollie partner id.
