I think this has been asked before and I’m wondering if there has been any progress. I would like to be able to retrieve 100 rows from the database and display 100 attendees by default on the Admin attendee view.

Ideally I would like the default to be more than 100, but I don’t want to be greedy!

Is there a way of achieving this?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

Which Admin attendee view would you like the change?

Event Espresso -> Event Overview. ‘All Attendees’ ?

Currently you would need to modify Event Espresso Core which we do not recommend and can not support unfortunately.

If you open event-espresso/includes/admin-files/admin_reports_filters.php then go to line 269

You should see this:

$rows = array(5 => 5, 50 => 50, 100 => 100, 250 => 250, 500 => 500, 100000 => 'all' );

You can change the order, but personally I would just remove the lower amounts, so to default to 100, removes the 5 & 50 like so:

$rows = array(100 => 100, 250 => 250, 500 => 500, 100000 => 'all' );

You could even basically remove the feature by setting the default to all. Like so:

$rows = array(100000 => 'all' );

The reason this was introduced was to stop timeouts when you have larger numbers of events/attendees so if you noticed timeouts on the events/attendee pages you may need to reduce the default.

We have had this feature request previously, so I will add you vote to that to have it included within core. (Possibly via a filter)
