Hi
I have my event set up and when someone registers I receive an email notifying me that they have registered. The email is sent with my own email address as the sender.
Can I set it to email me using the registrant’s email address so that I can configure an auto responder in Outlook?
That is not possible, the plugin uses WordPress’ email system, so it will use the email supplied in the Settings > General page. There isn’t a way to send email using someone else’s email.
Thanks for your reply.
Do you know if I can use another form to take personal details and then just use EE for the event info.
With a web form I can set it so that it emails me from the email address entered on the form.
Is there any work around?
What I’m aiming for is a system whereby when a registration is complete I can email the attendee and attach some pdf files to the email.
Can I achieve this with ee?
Thanks for all your help so far. I’ve made a little plan to suit how we want things to be but it leads to one more question – can I stop the ee confirmation emails?
You can turn off Payment Confirmation email notifications in the Email Settings, but you can’t turn off the Registration Confirmation emails all together. You can delay them until payment is completed.
