We’re having issues installing Event Espresso onto our wordpress site.

We’ve uploaded it via FTP. That went as usual. No probs there.

However, even though the plugin is installed and activated there is a problem.

Each part of Event Espresso when you go into it via the dashboard is empty.

For example: in the ‘General Setting’ all there is, is the title and nothing else.

In the ‘Payment Settings’ there’s this error message…

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/themotiv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/wepay/settings.php on line 104

Need help with this.

Hi Peter,

The error indicates that the WordPress installation is running low on memory. You can increase the amount of memory by editing the wp-config.php file. Please see this guide for more info:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

As an example you can bump the amount of memory to 64MB by using an FTP client and a text editor to access and add this line to the site’s wp-config.php file:
‘define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);’
