Is it possible to resend confirmation emails to a different address? On my site we allow multiple sig-ups and when we manually add attendees from the admin area we want a confirmation email to go to the organiser, who may not be attending the course. Is there a way to do this?

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to use an SMTP plugin to send out the emails through the organizer’s email server. That way the organizer would have copies of all outgoing emails to the attendees in his sent mail folder. (By organizer, do you mean the event admin?) A service like PostMark or Mandrill would allow something similar.

Thanks Sidney, our courses are offered to schools who may have a group organizer who won’t be attending the courses but will take care of booking the courses for 5 teachers who will attend. We want to be able to send the confirmation emails to that person as well as the attendee when we add them via the EE admin area. I was hoping we could add more than one email address to the attendee information when we add them or have a box to add a CC.

Hi Mark,

There is a field in the event editor under Event Options that’s labeled “Alternate Email Address (optional)”. You can add more than one email address to that field by separating them with commas. This will send a registration notification to the email addresses entered there for that one event.

Hi Josh, I want to be able send the email to another person on the customer side, not an event administrator. So the email goes to the attendee we are adding and another person within their organisation.

Hi Mark,

This is a feature that would require some custom development because Event Espresso doesn’t have this functionality out of the box.
