Hi there
I scanned tickets for two events last weekend and was thinking that the ticketing software is going to send an email to participants but it didn’t!?? Did I missed something to set up?
You’ll need to include a [ticket_link] shortcode in the registration confirmation email or the payment confirmation email that is sent to the registrants.
Josh I checked the payment confirmation email and the short code has been there. The attendees printed the tickets with the qr code and brought it to the events. We scan the QR codes with our iPhones and the tickets all were accepted. I thought the Ticketing software was supposed to send an email to participants after the event. Am I right?
No, this isn’t a feature of the ticketing add-on. If you can help us out by pointing to where you read something in the documentation or product info where you may have made that conclusion, we will make the clarification.
There’s a ticket to add this feature in the system, but it has not been added yet.
