I’m looking to allow people to buy tickets using EE directly on our facebook page (or on other wordpress sites).

The simplest way appears to be embedding an iFrame as a tab on the facebook page.

Has anybody any experience doing this with EE? In particular creating an iframe that only contains the event entry description and event entry form, while not displaying the rest of the page (menues, sidbars, etc.). There’s only 525px width to play with when embedding an iframe in facebook, hence the need to not show the sidebar widgets.

EE version: 3.1.25.P Current Event entry page: Irish Triathlon entry.

All pointers are welcome.

Hello Bcrinion,

I can’t advise any way to do this, but we are considering social network applications, in particular Facebook for future release, so watch this space!
