Great plugin guys, really love what you’re doing with EE. I’ve installed lite and played with the online demo.
Maybe what I need is coming in 3.2, if so thanks for reading this. I’ve read similar questions but I can’t read your responses until I buy a license. Here goes:
I am selling a course that includes several sessions over the course of a month.
Users should be able to register for the course and pick an instance of each included session. They’ll get three date choices for each session.
I need to limit attendance to each session, so they need to be tracked the way events are.
Bonus if they can select “I’ll decide later” on any of their sessions and log back in later to finish their sched.
I need to avoid assigning unit pricing to each session. I’m selling the course as a unit and want to offer scheduling flexibility for each included session.
Does the multiple event reg plugin accomplish this? Or does MER simply add an add-to-cart functionality?
Does the member plugin let users log in and finish filling out their schedule?
In general Event Espresso would have to be significantly customized to meet your need. Being able to register, then pick sessions is not something that is supported at this time. You will need to setup separate events for each of the sessions. Although that is something we have discussed for future development.
Let me know if I can answer anymore questions for you.
