It looks like 4 currently does this (With a few issues) but it was mentioned that this would be available in EE3.2 here (from 2012):

Is this version or functionality available in 3 yet or is there a way I can get 3.2 beta if it exists?

To make my question more clear, someone may get an event and needs 2 Adult tickets and 3 Child tickets. In the current system they would have to order the event twice

Hi Jeff,

Event Espresso 3.2 no longer exists, it was basically relabeled to EE4 and a different development track taken in doing so.

Event Espresso 3 allows you to purchase multiple ticket types within a single registration using the Multi Event Registration Add-on. This basically adds a ‘cart’ to Event Espresso which users can add their events to and then checkout all events at once.

Once the Add-on is installed and activated you will find the ‘Add to Cart’ link on all events within the events lists, or you can use the [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK] shortcode to create them yourself within single pages/posts or within an Event’s description.

Event Espresso 4 has this feature out of the box using the ticket selector

Does that help?
