Is there any sort of RSS feed or something similar for when we add events to our site? Some of our attendees would like to be automatically notified when a new event is added and was wondering if there is a feature for this.

Thanks!

Hi Sarah,

With EE3 you would need to create a post for each event (see the options at the bottom of the event editor screen). This may not be suitable as it does duplicate some content.

These will end up in the general post feed.

EE4 events are custom post types so WordPress will automatically create a feed for it – http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-make-a-separate-rss-feed-for-each-custom-post-type-in-wordpress/

So your feed in EE4 would be http://www.yoursite.com/feed/?post_type=event
