I am trying to find out if i can retrieve the different dates from a recurring event.
Lets say that create a recurring event called “Webdevelopment”.
And that event have these start and end dates.
1/1/2014 – 15/1/2014
1/2/2014 – 15/2/2014
1/3/2014 – 15/3/2014
So is there a way that i can extract these informations with eg. a shortcode or some sort of code that i can inject directly into a template or just manual adding it?
The Custom Template Add-on (CTA for short) comes included as part of the your license, however the Recurring Events Drop-down Template does not (so would need to be purchased separately)
The event ‘Recurring event with Seating Chart’ has multiple dates. If you click the ‘Select a date’ button those available dates will be displayed. http://d.pr/i/jd64
Once you click the date you wish to attend you will be taken to the registration form for that event/date.
The CTA comes with a default ‘table’ template if you install the add on and add the shortcode [EVENT_CUSTOM_VIEW] to a page you can view this default template (however is does not include a date drop-down)
Installing the CTA is done in the same way you would install Event Espresso, we have a guide posted to guide you through available here:
Ok yea i think i talked to someone last year about excatly this module that you guys was developing.
Ok, so its neat and all. But im not sure if a purchase can be made right now.
Thanks for the help. I got all the info here, so if we choose to proceed with this, steps will de made :-)
