We set-up Event Espresso on our test site nyscc.org/newsite and used the license key to enable it on our test site. We’ve since migrated to our live site http://www.nyscc.org but are now receiving the warning:
“You have the correct Site License Key for Espresso Social but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”
We recently upgraded to the developer license and are only using two of those licenses. Any ideas why are we receiving this message?
Also, because we’re receiving that error, we aren’t able to do automatic updates. Will resetting the license key make the system recognize the new URL and enable automatic updates? If so, is there a way to reset the license without having to pay the fee since it’s the same domain name, just a different folder?
One of your license keys are active on: nyscc.org so you should receive updates there fine. I will reset it though to see if there are any issues.
We can reset that license key for without the fee. The fee is only required when you’re using EE on an entirely new website (not replacing an existing website or moving from a development location).
