Rerouting widget links

I want the links on the widget to go to a description page (already on the site and has a click to register button on it) is there a way to do this for each event?

Well, you could change the “Alternate Registration Page (optional)” in each event to the url you wish the links to point to, but this will redirect every link to the event registration page, so the event list will be affected.

You could modify the widget.php template as well to achieve your desired result.
