How do I set a new event to require payment to complete registration? Desired behavior is not to allow users to complete registration without a payment. This is event specific, we have other events when this behavior is fine.

Thank you,

Jake

Hi Jake,

Not entirely sure what you are trying to do here. If the event has a ticket price of above 0, then the registration will not “complete” until the user has paid. They will still be added to the database of course, but marked as incomplete.

Dean,

Desired behavior is to require payment at the time of registration, not later. (e.g. Amazon.com). Currently, the way it works, the user is registered and showing payment non-complete payment. Makes sense?

Thank you,

Jake

Hi Jake,

I am going to say no, there isnt a way to do this, at least on a per event basis.

If it was site wide, then you could set the emails to not go out until payment received and using a gateway like PayPal, skip the payment overview page and redirect them straight to PayPal (its an option in the PayPal and other off site gateway settings).

It wouldn’t truly do what you are after still as the registrant is entered into the system, but would give the impression of needing a payment to complete.
