Required Fields Not Validating

Hi All,

Similar problem that a few other posters have had – required fields aren’t validating on my registration forms.

I suppose it might be a javascript problem? I’m not sure how to troubleshoot it, so hoping to get some input

Hello Sidhant,

It looks like your theme is using an old version of jQuery (1.6.4), instead of what is currently included in WordPress (1.8.3). This could be the cause of the problem. You can either contact your developer and have them make the theme use the WordPress supported version, or you can visit this blog post for details on how to do it yourself.

Cool. I updated to jquery 1.8.3 & that did the trick
