Is there a way to allow registering additional attendee’s but NOT charge for them?

Our event pricing includes registration for up to a total of 5 people for each event. So the charge for 1 seat is the same as the charge for 5 seats.

We do need to collect the names for each seat, but not charge for them.

Thank you in advance!

Hello Wesley,

To be honest, that’s really not possible with Event Espresso. There is a way to work around it, but it will not insure that the primary attendee actually purchases a paid ticket.

You would set up one event that is the real event with real prices.
Then, you have another event that’s free. You would need to use the Multiple Event Registration addon (included in the Business License), and the “add to cart” shortcode to add free tickets.
