Our event espresso is acting funky. Registrations are showing up under attendees but we are not getting confirmations emails for them OR we get confirmation emails and they are not showing up under attendees. Sometimes, it is fine. What gives? What can we do?

Hello,

Can you provide more information –

What version of event espresso are you using?
Have you updated or added any themes/plugins not related to event Espresso recently?
Have you checked your spam folder?
Have you tried the WP SMTP Mail plugin?

Hi Dean!

We’re using 3.1.30.1P. We updated from the previous version when it was released. No new plugins. Our website is http://www.aspencamp.org.

Yes, it’s not in SPAM either. And no we have not tried the SMTP Mail plugin. What is that?

There could be a problem with the communication between the payment gateway and your server, or since you’re using a caching plugin it’s likely causing issues. Please see this articls in the documentation for troubleshooting the payment gateway:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-set-up-paypal-ipn/

With the W3 total cache plugin, you’ll need to disable caching for the pages that handle the registration and payment, which can be done in the caching plugin’s advanced settings.
