Upon clicking on an event the user submits their name (simple registration) clicks proceed> Confirm Checkout>>>> PayPal…log in to PayPal and are presented with their personal options and recent transactions not the payment portal portion.
We are a Non-profit putting on events for soldiers and have one coming up in 2 weeks that we are want to get people registered for. We Are running
I’m not sure if this is what is causing the problem, but I don’t see the email question in the registration form. The First Name, Last Name, and Email Address are required field in order for Event Espresso to function properly.
Can you try adding that field back and seeing if that resolves the issue?
I checked the confirmation page and it looks like it has been modified to skip the Event Espresso Payment page. This is likely breaking the payment process. Can you try removing the PayPal button code from the confirmation page template? It may help to re-install Event Espresso in order to make it work as expected.
Along with that, it looks like somehow, someway, the email field was removed from the registration form. Removing this has the potential to break things.
Did you check the confirmation_display.php template and compare it to one that is from a fresh copy of Event Espresso? The reason I ask is there is PayPal button code on the confirmation page, which isn’t something that Event Espresso adds.
Josh and Johnathan thank you very much… after looking deeper into Josh’s suggestion it was discovered that some HTML had been placed on the Event page and set the [Events Espresso] short code inside a div and this prevented it from being able to execute… I appreciate all the effort and suggestions you guys are truly TOP Shelf.
