As of yesterday afternoon, EE was performing brilliantly (we have a business license BTW, but I can’t seem to access premium forums anymore). However, now all of a sudden, EE’s registration page is no longer working. Here’s what happens:
User clicks on ‘Register’
User fills out registration form
User clicks ‘Submit registration’
User is shown a list of all events :-(
The registration information does not hit the database, nor do confirmation emails get sent.
I’ve even restored the site using a backup that was made before this behavior started to occur. The last successful registration was yesterday at 4:30 EST. The faulty registration page behavior was observed this morning around 11:00 EST.
This is most likely happening because the default page settings were changed in the Event Espresso > General Settings page. OR the shortcodes have been modified in the pages that were originally created by Event Espresso.
In regards to your account/purchase. It seems that some the past purchases did not make it into our new website. Please fill out the update request form so we may look up your account. Once we verify your purchase, we will update your account.
Hi. I am experiencing this same issue. Everything was working fine yesterday. I haven’t touched anything since I verified it was working. Now today when I try to register, it doesn’t take me to PayPal. The page just reloads.
If you can share a link to the page, we might be able to further troubleshoot. I’d recommend following up in a new topic thread, as this one has been marked as resolved.
