Hello!
I have a “free” trade show / events, with 10,000 visitors, and all visitors must register. Almost everyone does it before, through the web-site. But from 1000 to 1500 persons, we must register on-site.
How Do I? Is there a smart page? Or a plugin?
My idea is to set up a number of computers where visitors can register themselves. One idea is to set up an event for those who register on-site (with not so many questions).
Thank you in advance
/ / Hans-Erik
PS. I’m scanning all visitors at the entrance. DS.
If the registration is free then it is possible to allow users to register onto the event through the Front-end as normal and then be scanned in straight after, you could setup ‘Registration Stations’ that people can use to register onto before being being scanned in.
You could setup a separate event with less questions (I assumed to speed up the registration process at the door?) or on the day of the event remove the custom questions from the main event, doing this keeps 1 attendee list. However if you would like to track how many people registered at the door then a separate event would be the better option.
However both the computers used for registration and the devices used for scanning will need internet access.
