Support team,

Whenever I add a new event, enter all the relevant information, then update the event, the registration and event details are not displaying. They’re showing up as completely blank. I’ve attempted to go back into the event and update it but its still not updating. This worked prior to the update but is not longer working now after I updated EE.

Hi there,

Do you happen to know which version of Event Espresso you updated from? Did the add-ons get updated? Which version of WordPress is installed?

Based on the readme file located in the zip file, version 3.1.30

I downloaded the most recent version of EE and add-ons then replaced each folder via FTP with the newer version.

Hi AJ,

There are a few possible causes to these issues. You can rules these out one by one:

1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme.

2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins.

3) Event Espresso and its add-ons did not get properly updated. You can try deactivating and reactivating Event Espresso and its add-ons so the update scripts (Uploading the new files via FTP without deactivating and reactivating will not run the update scripts).

4) You can verify that you have the current version of WordPress installed.

5) The server doesn’t handle the way WP compresses the admin JavaScript files. You might try disabling JavaScript concatenation for the WordPress admin to see if that makes a difference:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Disable_Javascript_Concatenation

You can use an [FTP client][1] and [a text editor][2] to access and add this line to the site’s wp-config.php file:
`define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);`

1) Older version of plugin worked fine with theme. I did try out the stock themes but doesn’t fix anything with event manager in EE

2) Already did this, not working

3) Deactivated all plugins, then reactivated- nothing

4) Positive it’s the newest version of WP

5) Added to wp-config and nothing

Hi AJ,

Can you try downloading a fresh copy of Event Espresso and installing it?

I deactivated then deleted the EE plugin from the WP Plugin Panel. Downloaded a fresh copy from the backend of the site, installed it, activated it, went back to event to edit the details and nothing. The times will not update at all.

It looks like the event timezone feature is enabled. Can you try disabling the timezone feature in Event Espresso>General Settings?

OK perfect, this resolved the issue.
