Hi I’m a premium user but it seems cannot view support answers re: this plugin in the forum unless I have purchased said plugin. So I need to check on my use case before purchasing the addon.

Client requirement is for a dance class that runs over many weeks. Payment for X weeks has been set up with Stripe working fine. The goal is to also offer a recurring payment option eg in a dropdown so they can set up an automatic weekly payment that runs until it it is cancelled by the user.

Stripe offers such a recurring payment facility so can you let me know, if an event / class is set up as recurring, can the end user sign up and have their cc automatically charged by Stripe on a weekly basis ?

I imagine this is indeed the most obvious use case/function but just need to check will meet the requirement before going ahead. Thanks.

Our interaction with the Stripe API does not include the ability to set up recurring payments. However, I just put together a rudimentary modification which will allow customers to enter a plan id, which you would have to set up through the dashboard as described here: https://stripe.com/docs/subscriptions. I would be happy to email a copy of the modified Stripe gateway.

@Larry – What was your experience with this? Did it work out?

@Sidney
– I need to be able to charge event attendees again at scheduled dates in the future. Could your modified gateway help with that? Is there another solution for scheduled future charges?
