Recurring event question related to posts

I am considering purchasing the recurring event plugin but am wondering if each event created in a recurring fashion will produce a post for each event or one post that is overridden by the latest event in the series. Some of the support topics seem to indicate only one post is created.

I just ran some tests, and when you initially create the events, yes, it only creates the one post.
