I am ready to purchase Event Expresso for my client, but there are a few unanswered questions.

1. We saw how to set up an auto responder, but couldn’t figure out how to assign it to a registration. There will be a couple standard forms and we like to have a couple of preset autoresponders to chose. How is this done?

2. How to deal with payment choices in Event Expresso. We want to limit the choices to credit card and check, invoicing is not an option. Is this possible?

3. Assigning an member number. My client has over 400 members and they all have a member number. Is it possible to assign a member number?

4. Creating a custom field for CE credits. Members taking classes receive credits. Can a field for credits be added.

5. Field limits number of characters. Can this be adjusted through CSS?

Hi Paul,

We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso. Please see my answers to your questions below.

1. We saw how to set up an auto responder, but couldn’t figure out how to assign it to a registration. There will be a couple standard forms and we like to have a couple of preset autoresponders to chose. How is this done?
Once you have set up the emails, you can set the auto responders within the event itself by choosing it in the Email Confirmation section.

2. How to deal with payment choices in Event Expresso. We want to limit the choices to credit card and check, invoicing is not an option. Is this possible?
Yes. This is possible. The invoice option is not required.

3. Assigning an member number. My client has over 400 members and they all have a member number. Is it possible to assign a member number?
You can add the users to WordPress then add profile fields for adding the member numbers. But these won’t be used with Event Espresso.

4. Creating a custom field for CE credits. Members taking classes receive credits. Can a field for credits be added.
Same answer as number 3.

5. Field limits number of characters. Can this be adjusted through CSS?
This isn’t possible without customizations.
