Re-Positioning Event Edit Meta-Boxes

I tried to reset the default positions for the event edit screen trough my functions.php file, but I wasn’t able to get it to work. I looked in the Event Esspresso files and fount a file called edit_event.php which would allow me to move things around, but I want to work cleanly. Is there a way to safely override this file?

Hi Deborah,

edit_event.php is part of the core file structure for Event Espresso and as such has no ‘safe’ override.

Any modifications to this file would need to be redone after each update unfortunately.

No problem, we are the only ones who have access to updates, so I’ll just keep a modifications log for consultation on future updates. Thanks so much for clearing that up!
