I can’t get payments to quickbooks from the plugin. I have customers try to pay me, I see that they registered, but payment just gets stuck in “Pending” and never makes it to my quickbooks account. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this.

Oh, and quickbooks points the finger back to the plugin obviously.

Hi,

Are there any error messages?

Have you enabled logging to see if there are any errors there (see General Settings, Enable full Logging option)?

Are payments being marked as complete on the Thank You page and in the admin?

I’ve turned logging on and tried to register with my card. I get:
Transaction Failed
2040: Authorization Error

There was an error in the transaction process, try again. Event logged.

How do I view the logs?

Hi,

Sorry I should have said, log files are found at uploads/espresso/logs.

The only other similar item I can find in the forums, is this post https://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/2040-authorization-error-quickbooks-mechant-services-settings/ where the user still had the Development server setting active. Can you double check the settings in Payment Settings page to make sure they are correct please?

Ok, so this fixed it. I had to redo the ticket from quickbooks. In “Payment Settings” and under quickbooks, click on the question mark next to quickbooks connection ticket. Then click the second link. After creating the account, click here to link Event Espresso to your QuickBooks Merchant Services account Then copy the new ticket code into the box. Then go log out like the instructions say. That worked for me.
