When I add a question, what I type is the visible text. This becomes a problem when I want (for example) a question to be required for one group, and not required for another. Likewise, if I want it hidden, or change in order, or different type… It would be really cool if you could add another field to represent the “key” of the question. The unique identifier, if you will. The visible text (to the customer) should be a secondary field, not associated with said “key”.

Hi Patrick,

That’s an interesting idea, and one I will put forward to the developers. As you have probably worked out by now that isn’t currently possible, you would need to add additional questions if you need various versions of the question.

Thinking about this further, what I’m essentially asking for is a new admin-only db field. A “note” field, if you will. It should be displayed in the question list admin page.

This would be an EXTREMELY valuable addition! Workarounds exist, but only invite errors in live sites.
