I am helping a client set up their EE plugin and they have the Monneris payment gateway.

And I have a few questions about this:

1.) In EE when I go to set up Monneris it says:
“In order for the Moneris Hosted Pay Page to communicate with Event Espresso, the “Response Method” must be set to POST. This is done through the Hosted Paypage Configuration Tool.”

So I went to the Monneris Hosted PayPage configuration tool and there are actual two post options, so I am not sure which one to use. The options are:
“SENT TO YOUR SERVER AS A POST” and
“SENT TO YOUR SERVER AS A POST CONTAINING XML”

Which one do I use?

2.) On that same hosted Pay Page set up at Monneris, there are two fields that need to be filled in when you choose either of the POST options:
“Approved URL”
“Declined URL”

I am not allowed to leave those blank, but no where can I find in EE What URLS’s these are and what I need to give Monneris for these things. Can you please let me know?

I should mention that my client paid for EE, so he has the premium package. But I don’t have his login to your site currently so I created my own, and asked this.

So I did see that someone else posted this, but as I didn’t make the purchase of EE I can’t see th staff reply :(

So hoping someone can help me here…..just wanted to let you guys know that I wasn’t trying to get support for an unpaid install and that I did look for past responses, I just couldn’t read them.

Hi Billy,

We do recommend logging into the clients account to post support queries, however I will advise you here.

The Response method should be set as “Displayed as XML on our server” and point to the page that has the [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] shortcode on it. Here’s a screenshot:

The approved and declined URLs should both point to the Thank you page. If the card is declined it will display a declined message, if approved a “Completed” message.

Thanks so much for the help. I have gotten the actual login from my customer, so I can see the forum responses on my search now but really appreciate you updating me here so that I could get the info without any delay.
