Hi Meg,

I suppose this really depends on what you are trying to do.

I did a small test to use the meta data in the post registration page for example (registration_page.display.php), so I simply pulled over the event meta as mentioned in the event_post.php

<?php 
global $event_meta;
$event_meta = unserialize($data->event->event_meta);
var_dump($event_meta);
?>

Ok so all I did here was var_dump it, but as you can see the meta data is available there and can be manipulated.

The meta isnt available on the posts. I will ask a dev to examine this for a possible future update,
