Hey guys,
I’m using #4 with qtranslate and have no chance to change it :( , it’s ok with event descriptions but not other elements.
Can anyone please tell me how to make it work?
Thanks

Hi Dean,
It doesn’y render multilang fields correctly for example for event title jsut displays “Event English TitleEvent Turkish Title” for both languages. I’m not a php genius but used to apply a little trick for other plugins like:

$lan = qtrans_getLanguage();
$variable = qtrans_use( $lan, $somevariable, true );

but in this case i couldn’t make it work.
Waiting your advices.
Thanks and regards
Furkan

Hi,

Event Espresso is not integrated with any multi language plugins, so it is not guaranteed to work, though some users may have had success.

I tested out qTranslate in the latest version of EE4 and the title and description changed correctly for me.

Of course the other aspects will not change (ticket names etc) as they are not default to WordPress.

In fact qTranslate actively disables Event Espresso language files, so any translations from the files are being ignored.

Please note that “bumping” a forum thread will not get the thread answered any quicker. We tend to work with the oldest forum posts first if possible, and bumping a thread will make it newer and therefore lower down the queue.

Mr. Dean
excuse me but it’s not so hard to tell “this plugin is not support multilingual plugins” in 5 days. That was my main problem, meanwhile i could try another plugin or call someone for some custom work, anyways thanks for response.
