When I tried to update the promotional codes i get the following error:
The discount code was not updated.
Debug:
Array ( [coupon_code] => TFEGC100 [coupon_code_price] => 161.48 [coupon_code_description] => Gift Certificate [use_percentage] => N ) Number of vars: 4
Number of cols: 4

And yes, these promotional codes are being used on the events.

Wordpress version: 3.7.1
Event Espresso version 3.1.32.2.P
Event Espresso Calendar, Multi Event Registration, Social Coupons and Requirements Check.

Hi Ronise,

Has anything been changed within the Promotion code settings?

Editing a Promotion code, but not actually editing anything will throw that error.

Hello Tony,
No nothing has changed with the promotional codes.
You are right, just trying to edit the promotional code without changing anything gives the error, but why would they not show into the events?

Hi there,

Can you go into the event editor and check to see if the “Allow Discount Codes?” option is set to Yes? It will look like this:

I’m getting an error creating a promotion code.

Two Error codes. At the top of the page:
The discount code was not saved. Unknown column 'apply_to_all' in 'field list'.

Debug:
Array ( [coupon_code] => Sbird03 [coupon_code_price] => 100 [coupon_code_description] => This is a discount that sales can offer to any new detector purchasers who are interested in attending one of the Snowbird Workshops [use_percentage] => Y [apply_to_all] => 0 [wp_user] => 2 ) Number of vars: 6
Number of cols: 6

Then a database error displayed at the same time as above:
WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'apply_to_all' in 'field list']
INSERT INTO wp_events_discount_codes (coupon_code,coupon_code_price,coupon_code_description,use_percentage,apply_to_all,wp_user) VALUES ('Sbird03','100','This is a discount that sales can offer to any new detector purchasers who are interested in attending one of the Snowbird Workshops','Y',0,2)

Hi kcray,

Can you try deactivating, then reactivating the Event Espresso plugin? It looks like the database update script needs to run.
