Hi,

Must the promotional code be in Value or can it be like “Free item”?

Where do i need to include the promotional code?

Hello,

The promotional codes are set up in the Promotional Codes menu page.

Add a Code (we generally recommend not having spaces if using multiple words).

In the event that you want that code to apply make sure that “Allow discount codes?” is set to Yes and that the promotional code you wish to use is ticked, then update/publish the event.

Thanks for your reply.

i have created the code but there is no monetary value but instead is a free item gave away.

So… where can i see the code? Is not showing in the registration page.

Do i need to create any shortcode for it?

Hello,

The promotional codes are designed to offer a discount on the event ticket prices, so I am not sure if your usage will fit in with how they are designed to work.

If the promotional code field isnt appearing, edit the event you wish to use the code on and on the right find the Event Promotions box and change “Allow discount codes?” to Yes and tick the box for the correct promotional code and update the event.
