(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/staging-poc/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114 Promo codes not working | Event Espresso - Staging Server
We created a few promo codes, and went to the calendar listings of the events we want to apply them to. Changed the “allow discount codes” drop down menu to ‘yes’ and hit save.
Nothing happened. The promo code option appears when registering, but when you punch any of the codes they don’t work.
Searched the documentation, and found a screenshot showing a graphic of the ‘event promotions’ widget on the side with ‘yes’ selected. It showed the promo codes underneath with checkboxes – which makes total sense.
Only problem – that option does NOT appear in our dashboard.
Follow up – we have three current events running, and I got two of them to work with the promo code, but nothing (promo codes) shows on the sidebar for the third.
I checked the settings for the events and they appear to all be identical. Only difference I can see is the one that is not working properly was created by a different admin than the other two.
Is the Roles and Permissioins add-on active? If so, can you check to see if the different admin has a role like Espresso Master Admin? This information may help narrow down what’s causing this issue.
