Hello,

I’m running the most current version of EE. I setup a promo code for a $1.50 discount. It displays perfectly all the way through the registration, even when more than one ticket is purchased. However, when the user clicks to pay via PayPal, only one $1.50 discount is applied, regardless of how many tickets were purchased. Any help to resolve is appreciated.

Hi Jonathan,

I will raise a ticket for this to be looked into as I can definitely replicate this issue.

HI Dean,

Just curious if you’ve heard anything back regarding this issue yet? I was hoping to use the promo code ability for some upcoming events.

Thanks!

Hi Jonathan,

One of the developers is working on this right now. I’ll post a note here when we have an update.

Hi Jonathan,

Here is link to an updated version of the PayPal gateway. You can download, unzip, and upload it to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways onto your server if you’d like to test it out. You may need to deactivate and reactivate the PayPal gateway in Event Espresso>Payment settings for the changes to take affect.

That worked for me!

Sorry for the late reply on this, but unfortunately this still did not do the trick for me.

I uploaded the contents of the new PayPal gateway folder from this thread to the correct folder, deactivated the PayPal IPN in the Event Espresso Payment settings, and reactivated. Unfortunately, the discount is still not being applied correctly. Is there anything else I’m perhaps missing? Thanks again for your help.

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

The entire folder needs to be uploaded to /gateways, so it will look like this:

/wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways/paypal
