(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/staging-poc/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114 Promo code created by other user not appearing in event? | Event Espresso - Staging Server
I created an event that is set up to allow “Global and Specific Promo Codes”. I have successfully created and used non-global promo codes with it. So far so good…
Another user with Event Espresso admin rights created a new non-global promo code, but when we look in the event overview, that new promo code does not appear under “Add Promocodes”.
I created another promo code identical to his (except for the name), and my new code *does* appear in the event overview and can be successfully applied to purchases. We are both set up with the “Administrator” role, neither of us has the “Espresso Master Admin” role.
Any ideas? We are using:
EE 3.1.36.1.P
WP 3.8
MER 1.0.5.p
This is because the Roles and Permissions add-on is activated. If you need to share promo codes between user accounts, you might consider deactivating/not using the Roles and Permissions add-on since that’s one of its primary features.
Thanks, deactivating Roles and Permissions makes things work! I guess I don’t understand in what cases Roles and Permissions would be useful, if it prevents letting multiple users share responsibilities.
It’s useful for cases where each user has their own promocodes that aren’t intended to be used by other event admins.
