I am hoping someone can help me. On our website, we are using eventesspresso one times a year. Last year everything was ok, but this year we have some problems with it. When I fill out the registration form, it doesn’t go to the PayPal Payment Progress. It just refresh the page. The form disappears but I am left on the registration page. When i’m going to the backen, I see myself listed as an attendee, without getting directed to pay-pal to make any payments and no confirmation emails go through.
Can you please help? Lot of thanks from Germany

my website is: http://www.vereint-im-islam.de
EE Version: Event Espresso – 3.1.15.P
My Wp is on 3.3.1

Hi Nabil,

Here are some suggestions and things that you can check:

1) We recommend updating to the latest version of Event Espresso, which can be downloaded from your account page. It look like you have a plugin active that is adding FaceBook opengraph metatags. These were known to cause issues with the registration process, and they have been resolved in a recent update in Event Espresso. Here is a link to the manual update instructions since 3.1.15 did not have the 1-click update feature:

2) You can make sure that this page:

http://www.vereint-im-islam.de/zahlung-per-paypal/

has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it and that it set to be the Main registration page in Event Espresso>General Settings>Page settings.

Hey Josh! Thank you for that Support so far! I deleted the Plugin supporting Facebook. And now it works. I want to update the Version. But is it for free, or do i have to pay again 89$? And i have a second questions. Sometimes i get an amount of double our even triple price as attendee when i’m directed to the PayPal Page, even when on our Page is displayed that he still have to pay the normal price. What the reason of that problem?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Nabil,

Updates are included in your yearly licence, so so long as you have a support & update licence you can update any time.

Sometimes i get an amount of double our even triple price as attendee when i’m directed to the PayPal Page

I can’t say for sure what is causing this but I would update to the latest version and if the issue persists start a new forum thread and we can assist from there

As you version is so old, there is no one click updates available (there is in later versions). Therefore, here are some guides to updating
