We would like to be able to print the formatted events into a flier for distribution. We’d also like to be able to email the same for others to distribute as needed.
Is it possible to do this within WP and EE and keep the formatting and pictures?
Via EE the only way I can think of is to use the ticketing system, but for a flyer it would be quite clunky and probably more work than simply opening Word or an Art package.
One other option would be a third party plugin to convert posts to PDF’s such as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/printfriendly/ (note, we dont endorse this product nor have we/I tested it out – just a suggestion).
I have put in a feature request because I personally think this would make a great addition to the EE family.
Actually, using Ticketing for this could be pretty cool but would require a custom ticket template that’s a full page. We are planning on developing a related add-on for certificates (so after someone completes a course, for example, you can send them a printable certificate of completion) which will use the same PDF-generation system that the ticketing add-on uses now that could also be used for this. Again, it’s a matter of building a template that would work.
