Hi y’all!
I am trying to make a radiobox question with the Price Modifier add-on enabled. However I’m getting this error:

“An error occured. The question could not be updated.”

My answer options is “Yes|500, No|0”, and max quantities and items sold left blank.
I have tried changing question type to dropdown with no luck.

Any ideas?
I have the latest versions of WP and EE.

May I add that MER is deactivated..

Hi Stian,

Can you try enabling WP_DEBUG and see what error is displayed please?

Yeah, I get “Unknown column ‘price_mod_qty’ in ‘field list'”

Try deactivating and reactivating the Price Modifier plugin. If you have phpMyAdmin access, the wp_events_question table should have a price_mod_qty field.

Reactivating the plugin didn’t solve the issue. Unfortunately phpMyAdmin is not provided by the host

The price_mod_qty field is in there. What could be the issue?

That’s odd.

Have you modified any of Event Espresso’s core files or the Price Modifier code?

Stian Morsund

Yes I have modified some of the core files, but I haven’t touched the database nor anything related to the Price Modifier.

This was one of the first features I tested out, since it was one of the main reason I bought EE. I remember it not working out of the box after a clean install, so it has nothing to do with my later modifications..

When you turned on WP_DEBUG and got the error message, did it give you a filename and line number?

@Sidney: Unfortunately not!

Hi Stian Morsund,

Is it possible for you to send us log-in details to take a look? If so please send via http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

*FTP details are also appreciated in this case.

The reason I asked if there had been any modifications is due to the fact that if I setup a fresh test site, using un-modified EE and then use Price Modifier Add-on I see no issues. So just trying to rule out what I can.

Hi,

As per my note on this thread http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/my-event-list-is-empty/, I would suggest trying to activate the plugins on a single site basis.

Thanks!
