we recently updated event espresso and our calendar css is now different. do we have to redo that every time we update or is there a way to avoid that? thanks

Hi Sara,

The last major update to the calendar included a redesign, so there were changes made to its CSS files. Along with that, if you had made your own customizations to the calendar plugin’s css file directly, they would have been overwritten on an update. If you have CSS changes you’d like to make to the calendar we recommend not changing the plugin files directly. Instead you can load them in via a child theme’s CSS file or use a plugin like my custom CSS plugin.
