Defensive Firearms Training

June 21, 2013 at 11:22 am

Hello,

I have been using EE for over a year and am past my renewal but had a few questions.

I am working with several other businesses to form a training group. Each one of us has our own sites built on WP but we’re not linked in any way right now. If we purchased the developers license it would give us enough users to install on all of the websites but we’re also looking for some different features.

1. Would we have the ability to maintain our own calendars but share (via API) the events to the other sites.

2. If the answer to that is yes, would visitors be able to click on a link on my site to register for an event on one of my training partners sites?

Once I get these answered I will be able to determine how to proceed with renewing my license.

Thanks

Laran

Hello Laren,

This should be possible either with the JSON API, or by setting up events on one site and using the Alternate URL field in the event setup to transfer to the other person’s site to complete the registration.

With the JSON API, you will need someone who is familiar with JSON development to set this up for you. We have documentation for the API, but not step-by-step instructions for exactly what you are wanting.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

Does this plugin have the ability to allow vendors pay for their booth at events that are scheduled? If not, do you know of a plugin that would be best?

Hi Nick,

If possible please create a new thread for topics which arent exactly like the original posted subject. It helps us and other users :)

In answer, the only way Event Espresso could do that would be to have a separate event for the Vendors to sign up to, using the ticket types as booth prices.
