Im looking at purchasing EE but have some questions.
We have a members only events system which needs to be pre-booked. But we want to track who buys tickets, who attends (and when) and also when they depart from the event. From this we want to see how long each member has attended.
Also we want to be able to give a Barcode per member so that when they turn up they can just have their barcode scanned – by doing this we want to manually print ID cards for our members.
Is this possible with EE?
Is this something that can be customised?
I think most of this is doable with Event Espresso.
Our ticketing add on produces e tickets that can be shown on a phone or printed off. These tickets have QR codes which can be scanned by an iOS or Android phone, and will mark the attendee/s as attended.
The only thing the plugin can’t really do is track when they were checked in, and checked out. Checking out would also have to be done manually by searching the app for the user and de-selecting them.
It could be possible to add time tracking features in, but it would definitely have to be custom added and would only be available to view via desktop/laptop computers.
