Is it possible for users to register once and be registered for all events in a series?
ie. We have a training class that meets 8 times in the month of January, every Wednesday and Saturday for 4 weeks. We need users to register once, before the start of the first class. After registration, each event would show that user as being registered for all 8 classes.
Best case scenario is if the events are predefined and do not have to add each class event individually as some of our students may get confused and add incorrect classes.
I’m not sure if this is how the multiple event registration works as there is sparse documentation/images available anywhere. Even the test site does not include the functionality for testing.
I am using the test site and I have created multiple events testing the various functions/features and I can’t seem to achieve what i’m looking for.
I’d recommend creating one event to sign up for the series. This way, they sign up and pay once, and are signed up for the entire series.
The Multi Event Registration is more for giving the option to register for more than one event. There isn’t much to it, all that it does is add a “Add to Cart” option to the list of events, and moves any registrations through a cart type process instead of a single event signup.
After seeing a few customer sites in the showcase, I came to the same conclusion as well.
Thanks again.
