Wordpres: 3.8.2
Event Esspresso 4.1.12
New install

Hi there,

I have a new install of EE and am getting the following error when trying to install plugins: members addons, social coupons, reoccuring events.

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, first array member is not a valid class name or object in /nas/wp/www/cluster-2197/forensichealin/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 429

Just wanting to know how to fix this error, and if these add-ons are compatible with version 4.1 – thanks

Hi John,

Currently none of the EE3 Add-ons are compatible with EE4.1

For more information on EE3 vs EE4 check here http://staging.eventespresso.com/2014/02/event-espresso-4-beta-officially-released/

We also have a ‘sticky post’ which will be updated as support for the Add-on’s is included within EE4.

http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/status-of-ee4-add-on-compatibility/

Currently if you require the functionality of those plugins you would need to use EE3.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Tony,
We will revert to version 3 and keep an eye out for updates.
Cheers

No problem at all, I’m sorry for the confusion :)

We are working as quickly as we can to bring the features users need the most to EE4.

If you would like to add your vote to this you can use this form:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/ee4-add-ons-feature-requests/

We are collating the data from this to help us focus on the features requested the most (if possible)
