Hello, for some reason my event espresso is stuck on version 3.1.30, and refuses to automatically update. This is what it says:

There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.32.2.P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

When I check my site license key through my event espresso login, it says it is active on my site and my site only. Users are reporting increased bugginess, I presume due to the lack of upgrades. I know the add-on plugins are all outdated as well from a previous problem I was having, and I see no way to update them manually or automatically either.

On the top of my page it says: You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

Please advise as to how to correct this, as I know it’s driving my guests crazy. Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry for the trouble, we have made changes to the way the licences work so hopefully what I am about to outline will resolve the issue.

GO to your account page and copy the new key (i recreated one for you). Then head to the General Settings in the Event Epsresso menu on your website and remove the key there. Save the options with no key. Paste in the new key and save.

Give it some time for the your and our site to communicate and one click updates should then work. If it isnt working in 24 hours please advise.

As always we recommend backing up before updating. http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/
