I am using PayPal Pro and it is working fine but it is the only payment method and still forces the user to select it as the payment method before displaying the billing fields. Is there any way to automatically show the billing fields without first requiring the user to select the one payment method?

Also as a follow-up is there any way to ask the payment info on the first registration screen rather than having secondary screens?

Hi David,

I’m afraid the answer to both of your questions is no, not out of the box. However, if you know a little bit of JavaScript, the payment page scripts can be altered so that the payment fields aren’t hidden by default.

Update:

You can also add a bit of CSS to your theme or via the my custom CSS plugin so that the payment fields display without clicking the payment button first:

#paypal_pro-payment-option-form-dv {
  display: block!important;
}
