WordPress 3.8 running Raiden theme
Event Espresso Version 3.1.36.2.P
After recently breaking the site during an update, I now find that the option to pay using PayPal has gone from the registration page.

Two other payment options that are activated are still there okay. I have checked the file path to the PayPal button image and this is correct.

I have deactivated the PayPal option and reinstated it again. I have checked all settings and they too are correct. Any ideas what might be causing the problem?

Hi Joe,

Can you post a link to an event registration page so we can take a look? Thanks!

It looks like the form is there, but the button is the image: http://www.irishcookeryschool.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso//images/icons/external-link.png
It looks like that link is correct, it’s not a 404, but a 16×16 transparent image.

Hi Sidney – I’m afraid I do not understand what you are saying.
In my PayPal settings the following file is entered in the box for Button Image URL – http://www.irishcookeryschool.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/paypal/btn_stdCheckout2.gif
This is not the same image file that you quote in your reply above. Can you be very patient with me and explain in more detail.
Thanks

Hi Joe,

Can you check to see if there are any files in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways? If you find any there please let us know what you find.

Hi Josh
the files in uploads/espresso/gateways are …..

gateway_display.php
index.php
payment_gateways.php
PaymentGateway.php
process_payments.php

That’s likely the cause of the problems. You can resolve this issue by renaming that directory to :

uploads/espresso/gateways-old
